The SCCOE Curriculum and Instruction team offers a variety of research based professional development services to assist teachers, instructional coaches, and administrators with the implementation of the Common Core State Standards, the English Language Arts/English Language Development framework, and the Next Generation Science Standards. Our mission is to assist educators throughout our county to provide the highest quality teaching and learning in order to increase student achievement.
The C&I Department believes that effective professional development engages educators to focus on both their own learning that fosters personal and professional growth, as well as the needs of students. Please check out the opportunities we have developed. And, if there is a workshop you'd like, but don't see, please let us know!
